My WW2 collection and german fortifications
Welcome To My Home Page
My name is William, i live in Jersey, Channel Isles U.K, i have been collecting WW2 memoriblia for a few years (since i was 10).My collection consists mainly of gasmasks. I first got intrested in gasmasks and anything to do with the 2nd world war, after my Gran showed me her gasmask,that she had during the time of the islands occupation, by the germans.
This site is about my collection of WW2 & some WW1 items, ranging from sweetheart badges, medals, gasmasks, headwear, death plaques and other bits and pieces that i have collected.

On this page you will find pictures of most of my collection, i still have bits that i have not got pictures of like my, Argyll and Sutherland cap, my Navy Fleet Arm and NZ Onward sweetheart badges, a german officers powder box, a german jerry can. I also have found bits of guns, gasmasks, electric circut boards and bits of helmets in some of the bunkers in Jersey all of which are wrapped up and in storage so, asoon as i can get them down and get photos of them, i will add them.
In my collection you will see i have quite a few gasmasks, actually they make up most of my collection, i don't know a great deal about them, and have been unable to find any books on the history of gasmasks during WW2,so if you know anything about WW2 gasmasks and could help me get to know the history behind my gasmasks please e-mail me. |

Gas mask health warning!!
As a child i always used to wear my first gasmask and also took it into school and let my friends try it. But dont do this now,as these gasmask are so old the filter elements could be breaking down and releasing asbestos dust that can cause serious damage to your lungs, not only that but you never know if the mask was used, in a gas attack, if it was it could still contain dangerous chemicals, so please refrain from wearing them, as it could damage your health.
